Date & Cost

Day 01 : Kathmandu arrival (1340 m)
Arrive at the airport in Kathmandu. Loben Expeditions representative will meet you outside the customs and immigration area and transfer you to your hotel. The afternoon is free to relax, recover from jet lag, or explore on your own.

Day 02 : In Kathmandu (1340 m)
Kathmandu sightseeing (check detail IN and around Kathmandu). Evening preparation for trek & trek briefing by group leader.

Day 03 : Kathmandu - Phakding (2660 m)
From Kathmandu, you will take a scenic flight to Lukla airstrip (2,850 m), the most popular gateway to Everest. From Lukla, trek to Phakding. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04 : Phakding to Namche (3446m)
Trek to Namche Bazaar, the headquarters of the area. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05 : Namche - Syangbouche – Namche (3446m)
Day hike to Syangbouche (3900 m) for breathtaking all-round views of the Himalayan giants. After you have had your fill of the snow peaks, hike on to the Sherpa countryside villages of Khumjung and Khunde.

Day 06 : Namche – Tengbouche (3860 m)

Day 07 : Tengbouche to Dingbouche (4350 m)

Day 08 : Dingbouche (4350 m). A day hike to Nangkartshang peak above Dingbouche.

Day 09 : Trek to Chhukung (4750 m), climb Chukkung RI

Day 10 : Trek to Kongma la, camp near by the high lakes for the stunning sunset and sunrise

Day 11 : Cross Kongma La (5535 m) to Ghorekshep (5170 m).

Day 12 : Early morning visit Kalapattar (5554 m). Same day to EBC (5400 m) and back to Ghorekshep.

Day 13 : Second chance to visit Kalapattar in case of bad weather in previous day Trek back to Dzongla (4300 m)

Day 14 : Cross Cho la (5420 m) to Gokyo Lakes (4750 m)

Day 15 : Climb Gokyo RI (5340 m). Explore 4th & 5th lakes. Back to Gokyo.
Gokyo RI is stiff 1 and half hour climb; the panorama of Himalayas stretches with blend of glaciers and grass, rock, snow and ice. Sunsets are unforgettable from here. After breakfast at our camp and rest for some while, we will walk towards 4th and 5th lakes. These points offer more extensive view of Everest than from both Gokyo RI and Kalapattar

Day 16 : Rest day in Gokyo Lakes or additional explorations

Day 17 : Trek to the top of the Renjo pass (5417 m), camp just below pass or before.

Day 18 : Cross Renjo la, after passing couple of herding station, we will join in with main track down to Thame (3800 m)

Day 20 : Trek to Namche/Monjo (2815 m)

Day 21 : Trek to Lukla (2850 m)

Day 22 : Early-morning flight to Kathmandu. You will spend a free day in Kathmandu followed by a celebration meal in the evening.

Day 23 : In Kathmandu. In leisure.

Day 24 : Loben Expeditions representative will meet you at schedule time to transfer you to airport for onward flight
