Annapurna Panorama & Chitwan

Towards the north of Pokhara the skyline is
dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range which
forms a massive mountain barrier between the
deep valley of the Kali Gandaki, the deepest
gorge in the world to the west and the
Marshyandgi khola in the east.
This trek provides the perfect meaning to
trekking in the mountains of Nepal, as well as
seeing many of its other magnificent
attractions. After a visit to the enchanting
temples of the Kathmandu valley we board a
flight to Pokhara to begin our adventurous
journey. This has been carefully chosen to give
the best possible views of the Annapurna and
Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Both these mighty
ranges rise above 8000m and in their foothills
are many picturesque villages surrounded by
steeply terraced fields. The emphasis of this
trek is on the forest and wilderness zones
combined with an essence of exploration. |
